OMG! What is Sharon Cuneta Doing Inside a Maximum Security Prison?

In light of the recent fiasco exposing President 'PNoy' Aquino and his secretary of justice Leila De Lima with their pictures inside the National Bilibid Prison, another famous actress in the Philippines are making waves inside this maximum security prison.

Sharon Cuneta, one of the highest paid actresses in the country and wife of a veteran senator, is rubbing elbows with convicts.

What is the so-called megastar of Philippine cinema doing inside this seemingly dangerous place? Is she also a protector of criminals and drug lords? Is she using her influence and clout to extract financial favors in exchange of protection for the inmates' trades?

With all veracity, it is true that Sharon went inside the NBP and rub elbows with the inmates as well as with the officers from BuCor. But is incorrect when we say that she is a protector. 

Her purpose inside the NBP is to help with the different programs inside the maximum security and bring peace and happiness long yearned by the inmates.

Many showbiz personalities go in and out of the NBP as part of the program implemented to help develop BTV3 (Bilibid TV3), the only TV station in the world that is inside a maximum security prison.

This is one of the flagship projects of BuCor at ng Munti Paraiso Foundation that brings peace and order inside the prison compound because this TV station does not only promotes education and entertainment for the inmates but also unity among the 14,000 inmates who are members of the 12 dangerous gangs inside Bilibid.

The inmates are greatly thankful of Sharon Cuneta for her visit. Hopefully this will give the people an insight that not all activities inside the NBP are unlawful and inappropriate.
